Rough week

This past week we had a rough week at the Bril household. We all four managed to have that nasty stomach bug that went around. Can you imagine all four of us at the same time?

We had not left the house all week so we needed to get creative with the kids. The kids recovered much faster than we did, well I should say, I did. Caeden now knows how to spell his last name, knows where he lives and we are slowly working on writing his name. Of course we had to get in the 10 games of Candyland or more we play a day!

Here are some pic's of one night Mike decided to build a "fort" with Caeden. He thought is was the coolest thing. He loved crawling through it over and over again.






Noah also got a kicked out of it. He loved crawling through and having Caeden chase him. His favorite thing was tumbling it down though. He just wanted to make sure mom was watching him!








We are glad this week is over and now more than ever are we looking forward to Spring!!!!!

Happy Valentine's day!!!

It is Valentine's day!!! Caeden had a great week with his parties. He got so many nice Valentine's from his friends and he was so excited to show them off. He made us lots of hearts and they are plastered all over the fridge!!!






So today I had a great day planned, but don't think it is going to happen. Noah was sick yesterday and Caeden is sick today. These pic's are taken before he got sick! We had heart pancakes and the kids opened their Valentine's day presents.








So now we are just hoping for a better day and everyone gets healthy! Happy Valentine's day!

Girl's night

Last night we got together to celebrate the arrival's of Tiffany's baby girl! We had a great time eating, having some drinks and chatting! I always have so much fun when going out with these ladies! They have seen me through some crazy times in my life and I am really lucky they have been so supportive and wonderful! So thanks ladies I had a great time!

Good luck Tiffany! Can't wait to meet Kaitlyn!!! And we missed you Patty and Shawna!

Fun times

This week has been a busy week with getting ready for Valentine's day. I am so glad that I have kids now that I can celebrate with them. Mike HATES Valentine's day and thinks it is just a "Hallmark" holiday! Of course I am a hopeful romantic and think each year he is going to surprise me with something. Again, good thing I got the kids to celebrate. No big plans for the day. In the morning we will make heart pancakes. For dinner we are going to get pizza and make some heart cookies! Should be a fun day with the kids!

Caeden is having 2 class parties for Valentine's day so we got to go out and pick out his favorite kind to give to his friends. He picked out "Car's" and we wrote our names on them. Today he got to pass out the first batch and was excited to have his Valentine party. We did lots of activities for V-day, but of course I forgot to take pic's. They are proudly posted on the refrigerator though! On Friday will be his second party, but I will not be there for it. I know he will have a good time. Noah of course still keeps us busy. He is into everything and now is fully walking everywhere. He favorite thing right now is to be chased. He loves when Mike or Caeden chases him and he gets all excited.

Melissa's baby shower

This past weekend Nikki and I gave Melissa a baby shower. We had a great time and Melissa got some really nice gifts. I can't believe her baby is going to be here before we know it. They did not find out what they are having and the suspense is killing me! I can't wait to meet you Baby Tyma!

Weekend

We had a great weekend! It was so nice out! I think the news that night said 45 for the high! Wow, apparently we should of broke out our shorts and sandals!!! Here are some pic's from Saturday when we built a snowman with Caeden. Well actually Mike did and Caeden and I watched!
