I love my Taylor!

This year Taylor has been playing traveling baseball and has kept us very busy. We looked forward to his games every week and sometimes he has tournaments on the weekends!

He is an AWESOME baseball player. I know, you are thinking I have to say that because he is my nephew, well part of it is true, but he really is a good baseball player! He has even made an all star team that will be played the first weekend in August. He plays pitcher, catcher and 3rd base and does well at all three of them!!!!! He pitched a 3 inning shut out at one of the games this weekend!

This weekend's tournaments was up in Woodbury. He had an 8 am game yesterday morning against the the #1 seed Woodbury and they WON!!! So he was guaranteed to play 2 more games. His team ended up taking 3rd place, which qualified them for state!( there were some nail biting games. I was so nervous. I don't know how I am going to handle when Caeden and Noah play). I am so proud of him and he had the BIGGEST smile on his face!!! He is so grown up now I can't believe it!!!

Congratualtions Taylor! I am so very proud of you and love you so much! Can't wait to cheer you on at state!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summer fun

We are having lots of fun so far this summer. Even though the weather the past couple of days has been more like fall here. I can't believe my computer says 54. That is insane. The boys are dying to get outside and play!

We have been busy doing lots of stuff. The boy's favorite though is going to the park by our house. Noah loves to swing and Caeden likes to play on the slide and have him chase you on the playground.

It is also so nice to have a yard and a big driveway to play in. Caeden loves to play baseball, basketball and soccer outdoors. While Noah likes to play with the ball and likes to have mommy chase it down the street! What a fun game!!!!!

We have had some play dates. Today we had a play date with Courtney and Quintin, but of course didn't get my camera out. Caeden likes to show them all the toys. Even though they have the same toys! :)

We had a play date with Brylee too. We can't wait for her to get bigger so she can interact more with the boys!

With our ECFE group we are doing a weekly play dates at the park. So that is going to be fun. Last week (of course forgot my camera) we had a great time at the park and had a picnic. Noah was so tired he fell asleep while swinging! Too cute!

This last picture is of Caeden at his friends Alex and Lauren's house. We brought his bike over thinking Alex could "teach" him how to ride his bike. Nope, he wanted nothing to do with it. He did however like Alex's cool 4 wheeler. He had a great time one it!

Noah 1 year pic's

Here are some pic's from Noah's 1 year session! She did an amazing job and I am having a hard time picking out which ones I like. So there is going to be a picture overload. Let me know what you think!

Memorial Day Weekend

We hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend. It sure was busy at the Bril household. On Sat Mike and his dad worked on putting edging in around the house while I pulled weeds. NOT FUN!!! It took most of the day just doing the edging and putting the mulch in. After MANY trips to the store to get more supplies they had finished about 8:30 at night. Whew what a day.

I had to keep the kids entertain while Mike and his dad were busy. We got the kids a water and sand table ( but I only put water in there because I knew Noah would eat the sand). Of course Caeden played with it more than Noah and kept Caeden pretty entertained. I also got out our "Diego" sprinkler. Noah thought it was pretty fun to run through it and get wet!

On Sunday we had a VERY busy day. Noah was getting his 1st year pic's taken. A friend referred me to a photographer that is located in WI. The boys were not that cooperative, so I was really nervous on what the outcome would be. We got to see a "sneak peek" and they look GREAT so far and can't wait to see the rest of them. As soon as I get more I will post them on the blog.

It was now time to head up to Uncle Kevin and Uncle Tom's house for some swimming and a BBQ. The boys had a great time swimming. Just like last year Caeden was a little hesitant to go in the pool. With some help from dad, life jacket and some cool "car's" wings from grandma he had a ball. Noah had a great time too floating in his turtle! We had a great day up there with swimming, playing in the yard and some good food. Thanks Uncle Kevin and Uncle Tom for having us at your house! We had so much fun!!

Monday was back to the yard work. We were up early and ended up getting some shrubs to plant. Our very generous neighbors and soem friends also gave us some plants and helped us put them in. It is so nice to finally have landscaping. We are still not done, but at least we made a dent into it. Mike and Caeden mowed the lawn and everyone was exhausted by the end of the day!!!

ECFE

On Wednesday was Caeden's last ECFE class. Next step is preschool. It was a little sad for me. We have been doing ECFE's classes since Caeden was 9 months old and both of us look forward to going. Caeden has met some great friends there, that he talks about ALL the time. His favorite thing to do there is play with the train table. If he could, he would play there all the time. But, mom likes him to do the art projects so I have something to hang on my fridge!

This class theme was animals. He got to paint an elephant and giraffe and even hammer in some golf tee's. It was a great day and a fun way to end our ECFE sessions with him.

Zoo

Last week we made it to the zoo for the first time this spring. It was a great day for it. I think it made it to 97 that day. We went with my sister and Averi and everyone had a great time. This was Caeden's first time being able to walk around without being in the stroller. Caeden loved the bear exhibit and Noah just loved looking at everything. I am sure we will be spending a lot of time there this summer!

Fun times

Now that the weather is FINALLY getting nice out we have been spending a lot of time outside. Of course Caeden loves going outside and Noah does too. Noah screams when we have to come back in. It is so nice to have a yard to let the boys run and play in. Caeden enjoys helping Mike with yard work, playing catch, bubbles, sidewalk chalk and playing with his soccer net. We still can't get him to ride his bike. For some reason he is deathly afraid of it! Hope that passes soon. Santa paid a lot of money for that bike.

Noah likes to play with anything he can push. He loves pushing the lawn mower and the shopping cart. He also LOVES kicking balls around. I think it gets Mike excited because whenever Noah sees a ball he picks it up and then drops it and starts kicking it!!!

We are looking forward to even more warmer days so we can get our pool and sprinklers out!!!
