Since this weekend was so nice out, Mike put the Christmas lights up. Our neighbor Nate was so kind and helped Mike out! Caeden was so excited, but doesn't understand why we can't turn them on yet. 45 days until Christmas!!!!!
This last week, Noah and I were able to enjoy a day where it was just the two of us! Caeden was in preschool so Noah and I headed to the zoo! It was a beautiful day out! We walked the inside and the outside of the zoo until it was time to pick Caeden up! What a great day and I think Noah thought it was pretty cool to hang out with just mom!!! 
Here is a picture of Caeden and his friend Alex. Alex and Caeden met around the time Caeden and Alex were one. They have been friends ever since! I just thought this picture was so cute in their matching AP jersey's!!!
We hope everyone had a great Halloween! The boys loved it and Caeden really got into this year. We started the morning out by having Mike make us some pumpkin shaped pancakes. MMM were they good!!! We spent the rest of the morning just hanging out at home.
Our first stop was the Diedrich's house. They had treat bags for the kids and Kristy even made them a special pumpkin. Both boys were fighting over it! What a cute idea!
Our next stop was Grandma and G-pa's house. The boys had a great time there and she had some special treats for them. Noah found the candy dish right away and wanted to dig in! We had a couple treats there before moving onto our next spot!
Every year, even before Mike and I were married, we would go over to my sister's house so we could see Taylor dressed up. She makes sloppy joes every year and they are the best! It is now fun because we have our own kids to take out. Caeden and Averi couldn't wait to go out!
It was a very cold night!!! Noah last about 3 houses and wanted to go back. Geoff and Mike took Caeden and Averi around the block. I don't think Caeden was really into the trick or treating, but Averi LOVED it! 
When they got back of course all the adults had to "inspect" their bags and see what they got. They got a TON of candy! We had a great time and the kids were on a "sugar high" the rest of the night! I hope the rest of you had a great Halloween!!!
This past week since we were homebound and everything with the sickness, it was a perfect time to carve some pumpkins! This tradition has started even before Mike and I were married! We loved doing this and getting the kit from target and picking out which ones we were going to do!
We tired to get the kids to help get the "guts" out, but neither of them wanted to touch it. Thye just watched while Mike and I did it. Caeden did help out a little as you can see in the picture!
We bought a little pumpkin for the kids to paint on. Caeden loved to paint on it and Noah not so much. We even painted their hands to put on the pumpkin. As you can see from the pictures, Noah freaked out!!!
Here are the pic's of the finished product! It was kind of a shame because they didn't turn out. I think the pumpkins were starting to go bad! But we had fun anyways and the kids love lighting them at night!
About a month ago, we had Caeden's 4 year pic's done and family pic's done. It was a beautiful day out and we had a perfect spot to take them at! Caeden did very well with the pic's and did his "typical" pose that he does. Buena kept telling him he needed to relax his face. The boys had fun skipping rocks in the creek! It was so much fun and I am so happy for the way they turned out!
