April 29th, 2011, Noah's 3rd birthday!

Last Friday was Noah's 3rd birthday! It is hard to believe how fast he is growing up. I know I say this a lot, but it is true, he is growing up way too fast for me!!! It was a BUSY day! He started out opening presents in the morning at our house before Mike went to work. Then we headed to McD's and had b-fast with some friends. The boys love McD's breakfast so it was a treat for them. We also brought cupcakes to share with our friends as they sang Happy birthday to him!











Next we were headed to the BV center for some mini golf. The kids have been dying to play this and mention it everytime we are there. So this time we got to go. We were the only ones there, so the kids got to go around a couple more times! They had a great time!





We ended the day and night with the rides at MOA. Grandma was able to come with us and Noah wanted her to go on all the rides with her. The kids had a great time and were already starting to crash around 6 p.m.!

All in all I think it was a great day and the birthday boy was very happy!

Easter

We had a great Easter and the weather was nice too so that is a bonus! If you live here in MN you know we have had some winter and fall like days! So it was nice to see the sun out! The kids woke up and dug into the Easter baskets right away and then started their egg hunt! They loved finding the eggs and discovering what is inside.

We then headed over to my sister's for brunch. She had some delicious food! And we were stuffed!

Our next stop was the Brils! Grandma had an egg hunt for the kids as well and all 4 kids were excited! We grilled and again were stuffed after eating! I think the kids were exhausted at the end of the day. I know I was! I hope everyone else had a great Easter as we did!

Noah's 3rd birthday party!

A couple of weeks ago, we had Noah's birthday party. We decided to do it at another location. I was not really feeling up to getting hosue ready, plan a party, make food and then clean up. Since Noah's really likes to bowl, we had a bowling party. It was SO much easier than having a party at my house! And I think everyone had a great time. Here are some pictures from that day!

Tonight the kids and I colored eggs and decorated some Easter cookies! The kids were pretty excited to see the water change when dying the eggs and thought it was pretty cool that they could help. While decorating the eggs, they mostly licked the knifes (don't worry, I used different knifes when I frosted the other cookies)! Tomorrow is Noah's birthday party and then Easter on Sunday, which the kids are getting anxious for!

Whew, it has been a long time!!!!

I know, I know, it has been ages since I have updated this blog! March was actually a busy month for us! We went to MOA with Nana, got to play outside, Caeden lost his first tooth, went bowling, did a school carnival. Just to name a few!

We are excited that it is finally getting warm out. The kids have been dying to play outside and wear their flip flops! April has been a busy month for us as well. We had Olivia's birthday party, next weekend is Courtney and Quintin's party, the next weekend is Noah's party! All of this while trying to get the baby's room ready and build a deck! Whew!
