Who's who?

Mike has these 2 pic's up at work and one of his co-worker thought it was the same kid. Can you tell the difference?

FINALLY

Mike and I were pretty excited this week when we drove past the house and FINALLY saw some progress. As you can see from the pictures they have the basement walls up. Yeah! We are hoping maybe they will do some framing this week so stay tuned!

The toddler years

Anybody that knows Caeden, knows he LOVES to talk. I wonder where he gets that from? He will talk to anyone. We can be in target or at the mall and he will tell you his life story! Which sometimes gets me into trouble. For instance, Mike asked Caeden what we did yesterday and he said, "oh we went to Chammps and I had french fries". Caeden not suppose to tell dad that kind of stuff. He also likes to tattle too ( I guess he gets that from me as I was a little tattle tale myself as a child). When Mike walked in the door yesterday Caeden says right away, "dad, I hit mommy and then I go into time-out"! At least he is honest! :)

2 months

It has been 8 weeks since we have been blessed with the arrival of Noah. It has been 8 weeks of craziness, sleep depervation and learning, but we would not have it any other way! Today we had Noah's 8 week check up and the Doctor told us he looked like a healthy baby! He weight 12.5 pounds and was 23 1/2 inches long. Both were in the 89 percentile! I think we are going to have a big boy on our hands!!!

He is smiling a lot more and becoming a lot more alert. If he hears your voice he will follow it, especially his big brother's! One of my favorite parts of the day is when I get Noah out of his crib he is so smiley! It just makes my day. Along with Caeden coming in bright and early and wanting to start his day!

It has been a great two months and we look forward to the next two months to see him change even more!

Happy Annviersary

This weekend Mike and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. It is hard to believe it has been 5 years! Time sure flies by. Now here we are 2 kids later and a new house on the way!

The kids are continuing to grow and amaze us. Caeden is loving the nice weather we are having and enjoys being outside. Noah is approaching his 2 month check up next week. We are anxious to see how much he has grown since birth!

This past week Noah had his first trip to the zoo. He screamed the whole time we were there. I think he was hot sitting in his stroller. Caeden on the other hand LOVED it. We got to see the new Grizzly bear exhibit. It was really cool to see the bears so up close. Caeden was a little scared of them. He had fun walking around with his friends and playing at the park. I am sure we will be taking many more trips to the zoo this summer!

Father's day/ Noah's baptism

This weekend we had a very busy weekend. Our niece celebrated her third birthday. Happy Birthday Lyndsey! They grow up so fast and before I know it we will be celebrating Caeden's third birthday!

On Sunday we celebrated Father's day and Noah had a special day as it was his baptism. We started the day with celebrating father's day at home with Mike and the kids. Mike opened his presents and Caeden wished him a happy father's day! Noahs's baptism was during mass so the everyone got to watch as he was baptized. Even though he slept through the whole thing! He looked so cute in his white little outfit. It was the same outfit Caeden wore for his. As a matter of fact, it was also Taylor's who wore it 9 years ago!!!

The godparents were Mike's sister and husband and his brother. They did a great job! Caeden of course was entertaining in church. Since it was Noah's baptism we sat right in front. Now remember I had mentioned in a previous post that Caeden is obsessed with this bomb show that his g-pa has taped. Well during many silent moments of church you can hear Caeden say "G-pa, I want to go to your house to watch the bombs!" Needless to say he entertain his g-pa during mass!

We then headed back to my parents house to celebrated father's day and Noah's baptism with a bbq! We were very lucky it was such nice weather out. Caeden loved it because he could fill up on his favorite food, chips!!!

We are so blessed to have such great family to share Noah's special day with us. I couldn't of asked for a better day!

Caeden

I think Caeden is finally getting used to Noah being here. He has been such a big helper. He likes to help get diapers, wipes and even likes to help burp Noah, Mom and Dad!

He amazes me everyday. Some of the things that come out of his mouth are so funny. His g-pa taped a show about nuclear bombs and Caeden LOVES to watch it. Now I am not exaggerating here. When I mention that we are going over to grandma's and g-pa house, he used to say "o.k. we go to the park"? Now it is "oh, we watch the fire and bomb show"? I can just picture it now, when he goes to kindergarten he is going to teach all his friends about bombs and I will get a phone call from the teacher about her worried about him talking about bombs. I think I will tell her to call his g-pa!

5 weeks

Noah is now 5 weeks old and has lost that "baby" look. It is so amazing how fast they grow and change. He still is growing and eating a lot. One night last week Mike and I were talking while Noah was having some tummy time. The next time I looked down he had rolled over to his back. We were so excited. Mike grabbed the video camera and we put him on his tummy again and he rolled over again. Yippee!! We are proud parents can't you tell?
