Fair time/ Family time

This past weekend we were able to take Caeden to the fair. We left Noah with grandma and grandpa so we could enjoy some alone time with Caeden. Caeden had a great time. Every year we usually go with the Bushards and they were able to join us again this year. Caeden loved the tractors and all the food. Especially the Sweet Martha's cookies! He also loved the "big kid" rides and watching them go round and round. We usually stick to our usual food (cheese curds, corn on the cob, cookies and Mike favorite, food long). I told Mike next year we need to branch out a little and try some new foods! All and all we had a great time and sadly we will have to wait another year for the fair.

The next day we headed over to the Bril's. Caeden had a great time playing with his cousins. He even got to get out some of his toys that have been in hiding since we have had to move. I can't wait for him to be able to play with all his toys again. I think it is going to be Christmas all over again.

Another year older

Well another year, another birthday. I am in my last year of my twenties and it is hard to believe. I have accompished so much in my twenties. Graduating from college, getting married and having 2 beautiful children. The day started out with hanging out with some friends and their children. We went to listen to the teddy bear band in Burnsville. Caeden had a great time running around with his friends. He loves spending time with Alex, Olivia, Jackson and Lauren and of course mom loves hanging out with their mom's. We are very lucky we have met such great people through ECFE!!!

That night we went out to eat to the Olive Garden. Yum. My aunt and uncle were still in town from the wedding so they were able to join us too. We went back to my parents house so I could open presents and have some cake. Caeden and Averi enjoyed the cake the most I think!!!

4 months

It is hard to believe Noah is already 4 months old. Where does the time go? I look back at pictures and see how tiny he was. I feel like he is not my baby anymore. But, this is a fun time. He is cooing and laughing a lot more than just sitting there and sleeping all the time. He is rolling over a little. He has done it a couple of times by himself, but sometimes he needs a little encouragement to help him. He enjoys being on his tummy and looking in his mirror. He loves his big brother even when Caeden is pestering him! I know things are going to get more exciting has he gets bigger. We practice sitting up. Although he tends to lean to the left or right.

We are not sleeping through the night yet, which is hard, but I am sure in time he will get it. Next week is his 4 month check up and we are anxious to find out how much he has grown!

Caeden still amazes us everyday. He is so good with numbers, letters and memorizing songs. For the life of me I can't get him to learn his colors. Mike tells me, what is he going to need those for? At least he can recognize his numbers, letters and according to Mike, most important memorize songs!

Since we have been living here we have had to get creative with things to do with Caeden. We just don't have a backyard to go to and one can only go to the park so many times. He loves to play with his bubble machine and his chalk. He also loves spending time with his cousin Taylor who he idolizes!

In a couple of weeks he turns 3 and it is so hard to believe. We also start up our ECFE classes in a couple of weeks and I know both of us are looking forward to that!

20 days!!!!

Well we finally got a close date of Sept 12th and we can't wait!!!!! As you can see from the pic's they are getting closer to finishing! It is now much more fun to go down and see the changes. Last night we met another set up neighbors and they have kids yeah!!!

Everything has gone smoothly and we are anxiously waiting to get into our new house. I know both Mike and I will be really happy when we can get out of the place we are in now!!!

Aaron and Maggie got married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is so hard to believe that my little brother got married! It was such a beautiful day and we couldn't of asked for a better one. The festivities started on Thursday when we had the rehearsal. Caeden stole the show of course. He danced while he practiced walking down the aisle. When Maggie practiced walking down the aisle, Caeden kept shouting "Hi Maggie!" My only hope was for him to be like that the actual day of the wedding! We headed back to my parents house for a BBQ and everyone had a great time!

Like I said the wedding was wonderful. Of course I started crying when Aaron was walking my parents down, when Caeden walked down, Maggie walked down. O.k. it was a pretty emotional day for me! The ceremony went without a hitch. Caeden did so well. When Aaron and Maggie were lighting their unity candle he kept telling them hi and waving at them. Then when the singer got done singing he clapped and asked if they were going to sing Bon Jovi. I think my dad had something to do with that. All and all he was so good and they were married and it was time to party!!

The kids had such a great time. Taylor did a wonderful job of taking care of the kids and making sure they made it down the aisle. Averi and Caeden loved the waterfalls at the reception and wanted to go out and play by it. Taylor got to ride the limo bus with the rest of the wedding party and he thought that was pretty cool!

Sorry for the overload on pictures, I just couldn't pick my favorite ones and as you can see I had a great time! I am so proud of the person my brother has become! He couldn't of picked a more prefect wife and I am so lucky to have her as my new sister! Congratulations Aaron and Maggie! We love you!!!!!

Happy 30th Birthday Mike!!!!

On Friday it was Mike's 30th Birthday. Wow, he sure is getting old. We started the day by meeting Mike at his work. His co-workers had decorated his cube full of balloons, Reece's, 30th streamers etc. His co-workers loved seeing the boys. Then the boys and I took him out to Davanni's for lunch. He also got to golf later that afternoon.

My family then joined him at my sister's house for some of his favorite pie and to open presents. All in all I think he had a pretty good day!

Saturday was the real party though. He was led to believe that just him and I were going out for his birthday and we were going to stay over night somewhere. He didn't find out where we were going until we got in the car. You see I am not the most direction savvy so I had to tell him the name of the hotel. We stayed at the Graves 601. All I have to say is WOW! It is a fancy hotel. Thank god for the good deals on expedia. We even had a flat screen tv in our bathroom! I think that was Mike's favorite part!

So the plan was, family and friends were to be at the Shout House at 5:15 and Mike and I would get there at 5:30. Mike just thought it was us two going out. I had told him that none of family or friends could make it out. So he was really surprised when we walked in the Shout house to see his family and his friends all there. For those who don't know what the Shout house is, it is dueling piano bar and so much fun. We even managed to get Mike on stage while everyone sang to him! As you can see from the pictures, we had a great time. It was so much fun and we are so lucky to have such great friends and family to help celebrate Mike's birthday. I am really impressed too that I kept it a secret from him all that time!

This is how we ended the night. We ordered room service. It was the cheapest thing on the menu for $15!
