Yesterday we went to the apple orchard. It is my favorite thing to do in the fall and I look forward to it every year. This year we tried one right by our house. We were kind of rushed through it becuase it started to sprinkle and thunder. The kids really got into picking the apples off the tree. Noah LOVED eating the apples. He could not get enough of them.
Last weekend we were invited over to our friends Nick and Carrie's house! They had delicious food! We had BBQ ribs, BBQ pulled pork and BBQ brisket. It was good to see friends. There was A LOT of kids there, but we still had a good time! Thanks Nick and Carrie for a great evening!!!
As I sit here and write this, it is POURING out! It has now been raining for the last 18 hours. BLEH!!!! September has been crazy weather! We have had some nice days and we have been taking full advantage of them. Lots of walks, parks and playing in the yard. The kids love to do sidewalk chalk. Caeden's new thing is drawing a football field and they play football on it. 
Caeden is loving preschool. He goes to school 3 days a week for 3 hours. Noah misses him like crazy while he is gone. Noah and I are having some fun having some one on one time together!
One of the kids favorite thing to do (well mine too) is go to the Teddy Bear park in Stillwater! We try and hit it a couple times a year. Preferably when kids are back to school because it just gets too crowded! When we are all done with the park, we walk down and get some yummy ice cream and sit and watch the boats come through!
This fall Caeden is playing soccer. He loves it. We have it every Saturday for the next 6 weeks and Mike is the coach! It is pretty funny to watch the kids chase the ball. A lot of them cry when they don't get the ball or score. Too cute! He even has 2 of his good friends on his team and he loves that too! It gets us excited to watch him when he gets older. He is just like his dad was too!
Well we survived Caeden's birthday weekend. And I say weekend, because we literally spent the whole weekend celebrating his birthday! He is one lucky 5 year old. On Saturday, my family came down and we had a Vikings BBQ. Caeden picked out his cupcakes and his balloon! He was most excited about his baseball helmets and a kids camera he got!
On Sunday we headed to Uncle Kevin and Tom's house for a pool party and BBQ. It was a little chilly that day, but the pool was warm (so I hear). Caeden had a great time playing with his uncles and cousins since us girls were not getting in the pool. 
And on his real birthday on Monday, he woke up to balloons covered on his bedroom floor and the house decorated with signs and balloons. He had a birthday donut and we sang HB to him. After Noah's nap it was time to head to the MOA to ride some rides! Caeden had a great time and I think we spent like 5 hours there riding the rides! We were all exhausted when we got home not just from the mall but from the weekend!
Today is Caeden's 5th birthday! It is so hard to believe! It has been an amazing 5 years with him and we are learning so much from him!!! He is such a smart, funny and cute kid, we just love him to pieces!!!!
Some of his favorite things are: SPORTS, SPORTS, SPORTS and did I mention SPORTS!!!! He is really into football cards and baseball cards. We have football helmets and now baseball helmets. He likes to check the scores every morning on ESPN.com. Mike has him in a football draft this year and is loving it!
He also loves ANYTHING dealing with geography! His grandma and g-pa got him a globe for his birthday. I mean, what 5 year old asks for a globe? But he loves it. Uncle Kevin and Sarah got him a United states puzzle and he has been dying to dig into that!
He is a pretty amazing kid and we can't wait to see what he teaches us in the next 5 years! WE LOVE YOU CAEDEN!!!!!
