Today we went to the local school in town and joined the Prasnicki family for a fun Halloween party. The kids had a great time and were excited to put on their costumes. In fact, Caeden though they were really going to go trick or treating after we were done. The kids got some fun prizes and played some fun games! It was a fun time!
We carved pumpkins on Sunday afternoon and the kids loved it. They got to pick out what design they wanted and were so proud of their pumpkins. The kids are getting really excited for Halloween and we can't wait.
This past weekend Mike and I were able to get away for a couple days to Lutsen! I just love it up there. We just relaxed and hung out it was so nice. We even ran into my sister who was up there with her family! Thanks Grandma for taking the kids!!!
The Bril family is having a GREAT October! The weather is amazing which had lead to a lot of fun activities. We have been to the pumpkin patch, not once but twice. Playdates, playdates, playdates, the zoo, apple orchard for Caeden's school, parks,nature walks, Caeden's soccer games, or just hanging out in our own back yard!
The kids are loving this weather and can't wait for halloween to come. We had a little halloween party and the kids can't wait to go trick or treating!

Yesterday we went to the apple orchard. It is my favorite thing to do in the fall and I look forward to it every year. This year we tried one right by our house. We were kind of rushed through it becuase it started to sprinkle and thunder. The kids really got into picking the apples off the tree. Noah LOVED eating the apples. He could not get enough of them.
Last weekend we were invited over to our friends Nick and Carrie's house! They had delicious food! We had BBQ ribs, BBQ pulled pork and BBQ brisket. It was good to see friends. There was A LOT of kids there, but we still had a good time! Thanks Nick and Carrie for a great evening!!!
As I sit here and write this, it is POURING out! It has now been raining for the last 18 hours. BLEH!!!! September has been crazy weather! We have had some nice days and we have been taking full advantage of them. Lots of walks, parks and playing in the yard. The kids love to do sidewalk chalk. Caeden's new thing is drawing a football field and they play football on it. 
Caeden is loving preschool. He goes to school 3 days a week for 3 hours. Noah misses him like crazy while he is gone. Noah and I are having some fun having some one on one time together!
One of the kids favorite thing to do (well mine too) is go to the Teddy Bear park in Stillwater! We try and hit it a couple times a year. Preferably when kids are back to school because it just gets too crowded! When we are all done with the park, we walk down and get some yummy ice cream and sit and watch the boats come through!
