Last Friday, we met our friend and her 3 kids at the Rosemount Community center for FREE open gym. It was so much fun! Caeden and Noah love to run around, shoot hoops and be goofy! Quintin had a great time soaking in all the people and activities. It took awhile for Courtney to warm up to me, but once I found her a giant ball, she had a blast!

Flashback Wednesday!

Happy Valentine's day!

Happy Valentine's day! Boys are having a great day today playing with their new toys! Poor Noah now has pink eye and it looks like someone socked him in the face! We are home bound today because he is contagious for 24 hrs after receiving the first dose! I wonder when Mike and I will get it?

This week the plan was to do Valentine activities all week. Mike is a non believer in Valentine's day. He thinks it is just a hallmark holiday. So the plan was to try and "spoil and overload" the kids this week so that they will grow up to LOVE Valentine's day and hopefully "spoil" their significant other!

So we started out the week with snow, snow, snow so we were home bound anyways! Caeden and Noah made Valentine's for their grandparents and their dad! We had so much fun cutting out hearts, gluing and decorating them. Of course did not take any pic's!

We also had heart shape grilled cheese, and "heart muffins! The kids loved this. The plan was to continue with my Valentine activities, by Caeden going to his party, making cookies and more art projects! Well he got sick with a double ear infection and pink eye in both eyes, so things were put on hold for a little bit!

So, this weekend the plan is, heart shape pancakes Sunday morning, with some making of Valentine cookies and dinner a heart shape pizza. Hopefully I won't be going SO overload, that they will hate Valentine's day!







I also got the boys 2 shirts to wear, one to wear to school and one to wear on Valentine's day, so since neither of them were able to go to school. They are wearing one today. Caeden picked out which one he wanted to wear and they will wear the other one on Sunday! Noah thought it was pretty cute that they were wearing the same shirt, Caeden asked me "why is Noah wearing the same shirt as me?" My reply was "because sometimes mommy likes dressing you the same!"

February

We are keeping busy so far in February! I am starting to get cabin fever though! I just can't believe it is snowing again here today! We are all ready for spring, but since that cute, but sometimes annoying groundhog saw his shadow, six more weeks to go!!!

Since feeling couped up all the time. I took the kids to the Rosemount Community center where they have open gym! The boys loved it and were able to RUN around everywhere! Lets just say, they had a wonderful nap that day!!!





Caeden is still loving preschool! It is amazing the things he is learning in there. The other day we were playing kitchen (we play this ALL the time) and we had some fruit. Caeden was pointing out the fruits that had Vitamin C and D in them. When I asked him, where does a donut come from, he tell me "Cub!" He is now writing his name and practices writing his letters everyday! He loves to do his homework. I just hope that continues on, but I highly doubt it!

We just signed him up for baseball and he is so excited! It is a rookie camp that starts in May and goes through July. They work on basic skills for them to learn in order for them to play. Mike is so excited for him to start sports. Caeden wants to play them all. When I told him I was signing him up for baseball he said, "and soccer, hockey and football too mom!"




Noah is also our sports nut. Gee, I wonder where they get that from? He LOVES to play hoops and football! Caeden, Noah and dad play tackle football everynight. I think I may have some football players on hand! He also, loves to do whatever Caeden does and follows him around. I know this will continue for many more years and I just hope Caeden will continue to be a good sport about it!

He is starting to say some more words. When Caeden was this age, he was talking like crazy so it is a little different that Noah is not saying as much. The Dr didn't seem to worry, so I am not (too) worried yet!

He also loves books and anything Mickey mouse! We are just having so much fun watching him grow and become his own little person!






Both boys are growing up way too fast for me! I don't know where my babies went? But, I do love watching them grow everyday and learn new things (whether they be good or bad) everyday! So sorry for the long post! Just wanted to get some updates!

Last of the birthday's!

I know, a little late with this, but last weekend we celebrate the last of the January birthday's! It was Marge and Jerry's birthday's on the 25th and Jan 27th so we went out to the Macaroni Grill to celebrate! What a group we had and this family is just going to keep getting bigger and bigger!

Caeden was great at the restaurant talking with all his aunts and uncles. Noah on the other hand, was a different story. I was try to think of everything I could to entertain him. I think it was because he sat for so long when he is used to being on the go!

We went back to Grandma and G-pa's house for some yummy cake and the kids played so well! hope they had a wonderful birthday!

We are GLAD January is over with!!!
