This past Saturday, we celebrated Caeden and Alex's 5th birthday. Amy and I decided to do a joint birthday party since the kids basically have the same friends. I think it was a huge success and the kids had a great time. If you can't tell from the pic's, it was a Toy Story themed party and we played some games and had a bouncy house too for the kids to play in!
One of my dear and closest friends Kristy turned 30 on the 20th of August! So we took a limo bus to the Shout house downtown. It was so much fun! For those who don't know what it is, it is a dueling piano bar! We went there for Mike's 30th too and it was a blast! Everyone seemed to have a great time! I think Mike and Alicia, might had TOO much of a good time! It was so much fun to hang out with our highschool/college friends, who we don't get to see as often. At midnight that night, there was a HB shout out to me! It was a great way to start my birthday! Although the next day, not so great!!! haha!
Sorry for the lack of updates! We are having a GREAT summer and have been really busy. I can honestly say, this is one of my favorite summers I have had with the boys and Mike. We have been doing lots of playdates to park and pools. We were able to go to the Dakota county fair. The boys loved eating and riding the rides.
This is one of my favorite parts as being a stay at home mom is enjoying summer. As it comes to an end soon (tear) and my favorite season fall approaches us. We have lots planned for the next month. Caeden turning 5 (still can't believe it), football season starting (boys are so excited, both have new jersey's! and Noah can name all 32 teams), Caeden starting his last year of preschool and lots of fall activities!
This morning was Noah's first trip to the dentist! He did so well as the hygienist was able to clean his teeth! Caeden was a big helper too telling Noah what he needed to do! We did get in a little trouble for still have the pacifier! The dentist told me, it was time to get rid of it! I have a feeling we are in for a bumpy ride!
Yesterday Caeden and Mike were able to go to the Twins game (thanks Uncle Kevin!) Caeden was SOOOO excited and couldn't wait to go! He had a great time with his dad and his 2 uncles! He had lots of fun stuff to eat like 2 pretzels and an ice cream sundae. Mike even bought him a foam finger (which if you know Mike, he HATES touching foam!)

A couple of weeks ago, Caeden was able to have his cousin Lyndsey sleep over. It was his first sleep over and he was so excited. Lyndsey and Caeden are 3 month apart. We had a busy afternoon and night. We went swimming, went to the park and had a bon fire. The kids LOVED it!
I would say from this picture, it was a fun night and they were worn out! Thanks Lyndsey for a fun night!
