June 27th- June 30th the whole Bril gang headed up North to Huddles resort on Leech lake! We all had a great time and the kids LOVED it! They got to spend lots of time with their cousins, aunts and uncles and of course grandma and g-pa! We had wonderful weather and there was lots of activities for the kids to do! Caeden and Noah loved the playground and the basketball hoop! They also enjoyed throwing rocks into the lake! I can see why people love it up North! There was something that was so relaxing and refreshing about it! We are hoping to make this a yearly thing with the Bril family!
One of the days we rented a pontoon boat and all 16 of us were able to go out in it! We did some fishing and some were brave enough to get into the water! Noah wanted to jump in so bad so we let him, knowing he would quickly jump back on the boat because the water was so cold!

All in all it was a great trip and the boys are still talking about it and can't wait for next year!

Chicago
On June 19th Mike and I were able to sneak away for a quick vacation for the 2 of us! Mike was already going to be there for work so I decided to join him! We were able to get in 2 relaxing day before Mike started work! Chicago is such a great city, so much to do and see and of course the shopping!
We were able to go to Second City (thanks for the recommendation Amy)! Mike and I had never been to a comedy club before! I guess Tina Fey, Chris Farley, Tim Meadows, Steve Carrell, to just name a few started there. It was SO much fun! Mike even got pulled on stage to act out some lines. He was a construction worker from Brooklyn!
Mike went to training on Monday (our 7th Anniversary) and I was able to spend the day all to myself. It was so nice and peaceful! Did some shopping and walking around, eating and just relaxing!
On Monday night we went to the 96th floor of the Hancock building and had a wonderful dinner! The view and the company was amazing!
All and all we had a great trip and it was so nice to spend some one on one time together!

updates!
We have been having a great summer so far (minus the weather, ugh is this rain EVER going to stop)? We have had trips to the zoo, the teddy bear park in Stillwater, Taylor's games, parks and backyard fun! This is one of my favorite parts as being a stay at home mom, is the summer!!!!
Caeden is still our very smart boy. His newest thing is that he is obsessed with weather. He loves checking the weather maps and seeing what is going on across the US. Although he does refer to the cities as sports teams. For example, when checking out the weather map he tell me "Mom the Yankees are getting smoked with rain, or mom, the Miami Dolphins are having sunny weather!"
He continues to have baseball every Saturday and seems to be enjoying it. Mike and him have been practicing in the backyard every change they get! In July he will be starting up soccer so we are excited to see how he does with that. He is enjoying watching the World Cup with Mike too!
One of Caeden's morning rituals are checking the sports scores from the previous night. So before he comes into our room he checks the scores and then comes racing in to tell us who won or who lost the night before. Him and Mike also recently got into an argument. See Mike does this ESPN streak for the cash where he picks certain games and picks who is going to win. Well Caeden also loves going into this page and picking who is going to win and changed Mike's pick. Mike was not too happy!
Noah is keeping us busy as usual! He is talking more and more everyday and putting more sentences together. He is our little dare devil. Not afraid to try anything. He too enjoys watching and playing sports with his brother and dad!
June is a busy month for us as Mike and I leave for Chicago this month and then right after that, we head up North for the Bril family vacation. So there will be lots of pics on that!

Sister Sister bonding
A couple of weeks ago, my dad was generous enough to share his twins tickets with his 2 favorite daughters! Angie and I were able to go to a Tuesday night game and were were in the Legends seats. They were unbelievable seats. We even had our own waiter! We both also share the love of Joe Mauer! It was a great night and had so much fun with my sister!

Mike and Caeden and the heart walk
This past Saturday, Caeden and Mike participated in the Heart Walk through Mike's work. It started out at Target Field! So the boys got up nice and early, drove to the MOA and then were able to ride the light rail downtown to the field. Before the walk started, the boys were able to tour the field. From what Mike said, Caeden had so much fun looking around and was so excited to be there! He is still talking about it! It was good for him and Mike to have some one on one time!

Caeden's last day of preschool
This is a little late, but Caeden's last day of school was the 25th of May and then on the 27th Noah and I were able to join him at a park to have some fun with his teachers and his classmates! Caeden loved school and is already saying he can't wait to go back next year. In September he will be going 3 days a week for 3 hours!
