It has been very busy here at the Bril household. I don't think we have spent one night just hanging out. We have been running here and there. Trying to get stuff organized with this house is exhausting. We did manage a night of playing in the driveway (still no grass, but hoping it is coming in one week) and going for a walk. Of course Caeden loves to be outside and Noah seemed to enjoy it too! Too bad we didn't move in sooner so we could of enjoyed the nice weather more!
We have been spending a lot of time trying to figure out what to do for landscaping. Mike and I are clueless when it comes to that. I can't tell you how many times we have been to Bachman's, Gerten's or other nursery places. We did finally pick out some tree's and they are hopefully going to be delivered on Friday! These next set of pictures are from when we went up to Gerten's one night. Caeden wasn't really up to participating in mom's torture of trying to get some cute fall photo's, but Noah seemed to like it!

One of my favorite things to do in the fall is go apple picking. We usually go down Belle Plaine to Emma Krumbies! We decided at the last minute last Saturday to go down there. We did not stay long as it was very warm, which brought out a lot of bees and those Asian beetles, yuck! We did manage to get some fun pictures taken.
Caeden loved helping Mike pick the apples and took pride on picking them. He wanted to go from tree to tree to find the apples. He tired so hard pulling them off the tree, but he had to have some help from dad. All in all it was a good day. Next week I am going to try and make some apple bread, apple crisp and some homemade applesauce. We will see how far I get!
Tonight we were able to go pick some pumpkins out. Every time we drive past Pahl's Caeden loves to look at the big pumpkin. The big pumpkin is a blow up thing kids can bounce in. Well when we got there, he didn't want to go in. I even tried bribing him. Nope, wanted nothing to do with it. Well at least we got some pictures of Caeden and the pumpkins!
And lastly, my little Noah. He is now 24 weeks and still is not sleeping through the night. We are still having some issues with his eating and hoping when he has his 6 month appt later this month, the doctor will give me some insight. Maybe once he starts on some solid food he will do better.
He is getting so close to crawling and you can tell he wants to move and he is frustrated that he can't. Mike mom told me that Mike was this same way. Once Mike was able to move he was a very happy baby. Mike also walked at 8 months so we will see if Noah takes after his dad!

Sorry for the picture overload tonight. We had a lot going on in the past couple of weeks and wanted to share. We are still trying to settle into the house and it is starting to feel like home. Of course I am very anxious to get to decorating and painting and Mike has to remind me to take one step at a time.

Go Tyma!!!!!
Out of the words of Caeden's mouth, "Go Tyma"! Tonight Caeden experienced his first soccer game. Our friend Peter Tyma is the head coach of the Lakeville North Panthers and his team was playing for state. When we got there it was 1-0 Panthers and we got to see the Panthers score another goal!!! Caeden was so excited when they scored a goal, he shouted "go Tyma"! They ended up winning the game 2-0. Funny thing, Tyma's team was playing against Mike and Peter's old high school coach's team!
So now our new favorite team around here is the Lakeville Panthers! We are hoping we can cheer on Tyma and his boys at state! Congrats Tyma! We are so happy and excited for you! Good luck at state!

Funny things Caeden says!
The things that come out of Caeden's mouth. So yesterday Caeden and I decided to take a trip to target because I was bored( Mike was very nervous about this trip, but I ended up coming out of target spending less than $50). Everytime we go to target, Caeden has to look at the Halloween decorations. We press almost every button there is to press on the decorations. Target also has decorations hanging from their ceiling. Caeden likes to talk to them. So when we were checking out, I told him to say goodbye to them. He tells me, "No mom, the monsters are mad at me!" Too cute I tell you.
So today we had our ECFE class and the theme was fire safety. We made fire trucks, played with fire hats and sang some songs. When I came back from parenting time, the teacher pulled me aside. She told me how cute she thought Caeden was. She told me he really enjoyed the fire safety this week. Apparently while I was at parent time, Caeden was telling Ms. Nancy about the bombs, the smoke and fire. He told her how the bombs go boom and then the fire and smoke come. Then he told her when the bombs come, the firefighters come. Luckily his teacher is so laid back and thought this was cute. I explained to her that Caeden's dad and I aren't into bombs and fire, that he gets this from his g-pa! I knew one day this conversation would come up, but I didn't think it would be so soon! Thank goodness his teacher thought it was funny!

Mom's night out!
Last night, my ECFE mom's got together at Ruby Tuesday's and had a much needed girls night out! It was so nice to get out without the kids. It is funny though, because that is what most of our conversation was about. We sure do love our kids!!! We couldn't believe that in the 2 years we have know each other this was the first time we got out. We decided this has to happen more often! We did miss Amy, Tiffany and Shawna. Hopefully you guys can make it next time!!

Move in, take 2
Well this past weekend we were able to move back in to our house for the second time. On Friday they were finishing the last final touches before we could get back in. We were a little nervous at first because we were having problems with the dishwasher as it was leaking. Luckily it was a one time thing as Mike and I have ran the dishwasher about 10 times since we have moved in.
The first couple of nights I don't think Mike and I slept good as for we were trying to listen for any water breaks. A funny thing did happen Friday night though. We have the temporary blinds up and Caeden's fell that night. Well it sounded like a swishing sound and Mike flew out of bed as he thought it was the pipe breaking.
On Sat we had Melissa and Peter come over and get our butts and gear to start organizing. It was a good thing they came because I don't think we would of gotten anything done as we were both totally exhausted from this ordeal! So a big thanks to them!
So now as my mom says "You have the rest of your life to unpack" that is what I am going to be doing. The only issues we are having now is closet space. Mike and I have never had to share a closet, so we are fighting over space. We will see who wins!

Why you should not by a Brandl Anderson home
I have to get my frustrations out, so here it goes. The newest thing with the house is now they are not replacing our washer and dryer that they wrecked. It was explained to Mike that Chris Brandl doesn't have anywhere to put it. First of all, not my problem, you wrecked it, you fix it!!! At first he told Mike he was going to replace all the appliances and put them in his model. So once again he has lied to us!! Yesterday Mike was all fired up and called his cell. Well his number is all of the sudden dis-connected! Kind of fishy to me!!! So then he called the office to get his number and they would not give it to him. So on his lunch break he went over to the office and the owner was not there. Surprise, surprise! I told Mike he is going to get a restraining order against him. So he has left several messages with the front desk to have Chris call him back. Of course he has not. He is a coward!!!!
So Mike had to take ANOTHER day off of work(that is 7 days this month) to sit down there today and b-sit them. So when he got to the house there was someone from Brandl there unpacking my kitchen stuff. And apparently our insurance guy was trying to contact this lady. So Mike asked her if our insurance person contacted her, she snapped back and said "we are not replacing those appliances!" Mike continued to tell her that Chris lied to his face and once again she snapped back and she said, "are you calling me a liar?". Wow, this lady is a spitfire! It is like, you could be a little more sympathetic and understanding. How would you like it if you bought BRAND new appliances and didn't even get to use them and someone came in your house and scratched them all up? I bet most people would demand them replaced!!!!
These people are the most unprofessional people. Remember usually referrals are the best kind of publicity and I tell you, they are not getting any referrals here!!!!
I think it is time to contact the BBB and 5 fighting for you. So maybe in the future you will see us on tv!
